Offshore Bombie Turns On

We have had a magic run of swell on the East Coast of Australia.

Here I am Riding my BOY 6'3 Twin Fin in some solid waves , its way offshore and in a remote part of the coast . I partner up with a good mate and we fuel up the jet ski / pwc and us it for step offs.

No way you could paddle this place ,  its  really far out in the ocean , way too far to paddle and it has an abundance of sea creatures moving through the line up . Real big animals hang around the section of coast . We have seen whales , sharks and pods of dolphins . You name it , it will probably swim past you .

I mean if you were some kind of fearless mad charger , I guess you could paddle out on a real big board .

You need to be a really confident Jet Ski / PWC driver who can come pick you up asap . Of course you need to be well versed in doing step offs ! We don't use a tow rope because that just adds chaos to the line up with all the wake it creates . A reliable ski , good rescue sled etc and plenty of fuel , which at the moment in Australia is most expensive it has ever been  .

Anyway hope you enjoy the video , other surfers spin out when they see me out there on a twinny , but this a "step up" and with the extra rail line (length) of the board it feels great on the down the line style of wave . Very fast and good in the tube !
