Just back from a big trip all over Japan . From tip to toe surfing some awesome tropical places down in the south west and cooler water in the north east as autumn set in .
My last surf was east of Tokyo , at Chiba and winter like condition's had just hit . It was back in the steamers surfing some mushy Wada peaks with my Japanese distributor .
Wada is a town just south of the famous Ichinomiya beach break where the Olympics were held . You have to drive south down past Kamogawa but the great thing is even though its Chiba the water is slightly warmer at the southern end . No boots needed this time of year . And it tends to be less crowded than North Chiba.
In Japan over the last year we have developed a new style of tech with the blanks and carbon construction and I will update the site real soon explaining the new EPS blanks we use exclusive for Japan and it unique stye of waves .
Anyway back to the video , the sun was shining and with an empty beach and waves we managed to surf some fun waves until the wind blew it out .
