In this video you can watch Eden shaping the rails and deck and what you notice is the board flexing on the stand. This particular board is Nemo model and Eden is finishing of the deck and top of the rails .

You can see how the board flexes because it has no central wooden stringer . Later during the laminating process we add the parabolic carbon rails, you can read more about that here. Which gives the board the stiffness and memory which gives the board that superior performance over your traditional central wooden stringers models. Overall a better performing longer lasting surfboard.
