One board, from a new three board quiver for ”DJ”. He is 5’8  ft / 178cm tall and 70 kg (154 pounds).

DJ comments:

“I tend to ride a lot of twins, quads and singles, I also gravitate more to shorter length boards when my mates are riding 6′ Im gravitating to a 5’9″, thus  I tend to like a fraction more volume up front to increase paddling power”.

This board looks super fun!

Just thought I would drop you an quick email – Really enjoying the 5’8 I bought of you a month ago. Starting to get it dialled in now, 3-4ft punchy beachbreaks – its all over it! Thanks again for taking the time to show me the factory at short notice, really appreciated your time and stoke.

Lastly, just got back from a solo-mission to Iceland, must be the most northerly point a Formula board has been? – from the southern Hemi to the Arctic. I’ve attached a few pics .

 

 

 

 

Jacks New Nemo

Jack’s new custom USC Nemo

6”1 by 21 by 2 7/8  , 39 litres 

Rounded pin , custom to Jack’s requirements .

We added more wide through the tail pod and moved away from the traditional swallow set up into a round pin .

The versatility of a good paddler with plenty of width and foam under the chest which the Nemo is known for ,  but the tail shape as a rounded pin to give a little more hold through turns in bigger surf .

With the evolved cleaner deck lines and even foam distribution , a true custom surfboard !

And Coffee Resin Tint on the bottom.
