New Flouro Resin Tint

New fluorescent pigments have arrived, and if you are interested in colour on your new board , now is the time to hit us up while we have theses fresh new batch of colours available.

Used for resin tints we can combine certain colours to give an amazing vibrant design which is totally unique to each board . 

Here is an example on the Savage model .This is purple marble effect combined with a black tail dip. 

The new colours are more vibrant ,some florescent , we even have a chameleon color coming !

Hi Flyer Explained

The DCD Hi Flyer is one of our top of the range surfboards in the DCD series. Its DNA old school twin fin outline, revamped to work as a performance twin (two plus one) . With the extra bonus of four channels  for more controlled speed .

We have designed this board with extreme V off the tail for performance and added a FCS rear fin option , for added stability , essentially for speed and flow with hold ! 

Because of the extreme V shaped into the tail pod we recommend the FCS rear to maintain the integrity of the  V bottom design 

Its designed to be ridden with your favorite twins and a small rear stabilizer .

Like the Aipa by Future Fins

Or the Scarfini FX Twin .

Ruebens new 5'9 is divine to say the least ! Designed as his go to board for marginal to good small waves .

Full Customised Creation

At Formula Energy we have the luxury of having everything ''in-house" . Which enables us to create full custom designs and liaising with the surfer throughout the whole process .

From the initial 3 d cad design of the pre-shape we can customize existing plan-shapes and tweak them to suit , then hand shape to make a board that is technically  accurate but with the ultimate goal of a surfboard that performs above and beyond your expectations. 

And then to the final art work ,whether it is a foam spray , resin tint, or full deck print . Artwork is a major part of your surfboard and nothing is off limits, the only thing holding you back is your imagination. 

This particular surfboard was from the imagination of Michael who surfs mainly in marginal conditions. He wanted the ultimate grovel board but was very specific about bottom curves and outlines to make it work in his part of the world .

Essentially its based of a Nemo outline with a single flyer round tail . With single into double concaves with V off the tail . 

Michael never visited the factory and all correspondence were done by email ! 

The Board is all black with Carbon / Kevlar parabolic rails (USC).

 Essentially the ULTIMATE CUSTOM !
